baby boomer nails

I really envied those nails once I saw them, so I could resist trying these ones on me too :-)

I just used two colours - the bell white for french manicure and the sally hansen shell we dance.

First I painted all my nails with two coats of the sally hansen polish. Then I started doing the gradient. I must say it took quite a few coats to finally get the effect I was waiting for. I put a thick coat of the seche vite on top and the effect was just as I imagined :-)

white and gold - a good match as well :-)

And again a bit of gold...

This time all the nails were white first. I used the bell white for french manicure, which I use most of the time when I need my nails to be purely white.

I painted the ring finger with one coat of sally hansen golden and one coat of the nyc top of the gold.
I used the hehe 005 plate with the color club polish, which turned out perfect for stamping.

The final look was surely satisfying!

nude and gold... a perfect match

I love gold and silver on nails :-) but with my new nude I love it even more :-))

I changed the shape of my nails into ovals, and painted them with semilac nude beige rose.

I put a bit of the essie rock at the top on two nails to get the final look.
Afterwards, I painted all the nails with seche vite.

What do you think?

Do you like it? :-)

the purple hearts

I haven't been adding any posts recently, but happily that doesn't mean that I am not a nail polish maniac anymore... Actually, on the contrary. I've tried lots of nail designs in the last two months, but I didn't have that much time to post my ideas.

This time I will post something that was an idea for Valentine's Day.

I painted my nails with color club bell bottom babe.

I made the ombre with the essie for the twill of it, and on top I put a very thin coat of the color club the uptown.

I chose two plates to use the heart designs on my nails- I used the sally hansen insta dri for the stamping.

That is the whole process and the end look:
